Paediatric Tui Na

Paediatric Tui Na is well documented in the classics of Chinese medicine and has been written about, refined and systemised by many famous Doctors of Chinese medicine over the past 2000 years.

Much of the treatment is applied to the infant’s hands, forearms and abdomen. The massage treatment is gentle and simple to apply and makes an excellent alternative to acupuncture. It is also commonly used alongside acupuncture treatment. Paediatric Tui na is very popular throughout China for the treatment of many common childhood diseases such as poor digestion, colic, poor appetite, constipation, diarrhea, 
frequent coughs and colds, 
Asthma 
Eczema, 
Enuresis 
and poor sleep. It is suitable for babies and young children up to the age 7 or 8.

In China treatment is given in courses of daily treatments for 5-10 days with a few days break in between courses. Practitioners in the West teach parents how to apply the treatment once a day in between treatments from the practitioner.
