Focus your mind whilst your body eases into deep yet gentle stretches. Using the power of your imagination you will be guided to envisage your life dreams and begin immediately to manifest them in your day to day life.

Benefits of Yin Yoga

Yin Yoga offers profound physical and mental benefits by holding passive poses for 3-5 minutes plus, targeting deep connective tissues [fascia, ligaments, joints] rather than muscles.

A way to lubricate and lengthen areas of the body to increase longevity and keep joints safe and healthy. Also ideal for runners and Marathon runners alike. The connective tissue of the body is targeted through long slow holds of cooling positions that allow expansion over time.

The perfect complement to traditional exercise.

Moves us out of the sympathetic nervous system and activates the parasympathetic nervous system. Spending time in our parasympathetic nervous system response, allows for restoration and healing to occur, therefore decreasing stress and activity.

It’s all about you. You talk about yourself and what you want. I will step in and keep you on track to move you forward, to define, empower and support.

Daily, weekly, monthly and long term goals will be set and actioned.

How it works

We start with pen and paper to get down your desires, long held dreams, faded but not forgotten ambitions. Then we move to an opening meditiation before beginning the series of gentle Yin positions. I will guide you throughout leaving space for silence and restoration.

While you relax in deep meditative asanas your thinking mind can take a break from the demands of modern living to allow your creative mind the freedom to move into action.

You may want to make notes during transitions or just flow through until Yoga Nidra, a deep restorative Yogic sleep, aiming for non activity of the senses.

The ending is yours to create. You can tell of any new insights, ideas, plans. We finish with goal setting and a plan of action.

All equipment provided for 1-1 sessions. Just bring yourself, pen and paper, and warm comfortable clothes.
