What to expect when you visit the Centre over the next couple of months

Welcome back!
First of all, it will be a pleasure to see you back as we gently begin to re-open the Centre doors. Therapists and practitioners are slowly returning to practice as they are given the green light to resume work from their individual organisations and professional bodies.

We as a Centre are doing everything we can to create a clean and safe environment for you as well as ensuring we keep the friendly and warm atmosphere that we are loved for.

Reception
For now, our lovely reception team will be available Monday–Friday 9:30–4:00pm to answer any questions you may have.

Classes
There are currently no classes taking place at the Centre. Our teachers are offering their Classes Online at this stage.

Obviously, if you or someone in your household is poorly or experiencing symptoms which could be Covid19 (or indeed any other infection), please rest at home and contact your practitioner directly to let them know you will not be able to attend your appointment.

We ask you to be on time for your appointment, not too early or late.

More room to wait
On arrival at the Centre you’ll notice that we have room 1 open (the first room on your right as you come up the stairs). This is now being used to create more space for overflow waiting should that be needed, although we do ask you to be on time for your appointment.

Hand sanitiser – throughout the Centre
There is hand sanitiser outside room 1 at the top of the stairs on the little table for you to use. We have hand sanitiser throughout the Centre, on reception, in the hallway upstairs and in all the treatment rooms.

Flow
For those who need to go upstairs, we’ve adopted a one-way up and one-way down policy. Please follow the signs.

Airing and essential oils throughout
The Centre is well aired and ventilated, (the old Victorian building comes into its own with this). We are diffusing essential oils throughout, we’re using the now famous Thieves Oil blend known for its ability to protect against external pathogenic invasions. It was used by thieves during the bubonic plague.

Cleaning
The Centre is thoroughly cleaned throughout by our cleaner twice a week on Sundays and Wednesdays. In between this, our reception team and the practitioners are regularly cleaning touch points such as light switches, door handles, hand rails, taps, toilet flush handles etc.

We have removed soft-furnishings where possible i.e.
• the couch and face-hole covers
• replaced the fabric pillow cases with wipeable pillow cases
• removed blankets & towels

Extra time between clients
Practitioners are leaving extra time between clients to clean their working area and touch points and to allow plenty of time for clients to leave before the next client arrives.
