Diana Cliff
MA, UKCP, BACP, ACPP

I aim to offer a warm, kind and safe relationship to explore what’s troubling you and how you can move on in your life.

Depending on what you’re bringing to sessions, I draw on a range of psychotherapeutic approaches. My core practice is Mindfulness Based Psychotherapy – focusing on your experience in the present, while honouring and exploring it’s roots on the past. I may draw on aspects of body psychotherapy, western personality therapy, psychodynamics, psychotherapeutic skills and trauma skills. My approach is informed by Buddhist psychology, mindfulness and compassion practices.

People come to counselling and psychotherapy for all sorts of reasons. You may be experiencing feelings of anxiety, depressions, loss, sadness, frustration, disappointment, anger or struggling to cope. Or you might be considering therapy because of relationship or family difficulties or previous experiences of trauma or early neglect. For some people, it may be more of a sense of loss of meaning in life or dissatisfaction. Whatever is troubling you at the moment, get in touch and we can arrange an initial conversation to discuss if counselling or therapy might help.

I offer both short-term counselling and longer term psychotherapy.

I am a UKCP (United Kingdom Council of Psychotherapists) accredited psychotherapist and am also registered with the BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy). I have an MA in Mindfulness Based Psychotherapy from the Karuna Institute.

I offer an initial 30 minute session free of charge to discuss what brings you to therapy and how we might work together. After that, we would work together weekly, and I change £70 for a 50 minute session.

To discuss therapy or arrange an initial session, do get in touch on 07939 527839 or email me at DianaCliffPsychotherapy@gmail.com
