About Us
Blackheath Complementary Health Centre first opened its doors in May 2000. The Centre is owned and directed by acupuncturist and Tui na practitioner Sarah Pritchard.
We’re a multi- disciplinary practice providing holistic health care for the whole family from infants to elders. We’re dedicated to the promotion of natural healthy living and to the wellbeing of body, mind and spirit.
People love coming to the Centre (nickname the mothership!) It’s a friendly, relaxed place. Our treatment rooms are spacious and calm providing a safe space for giving and receiving therapy and treatment.
We expanded in 2013 and created our lovely Studio space. The Studio hosts regular weekly classes and weekend workshops which focus on personal development, self healing and fitness practices such as Yoga, Tai Chi, Qi Gong and Pilates, Meditation, Sound Baths, Astrology, Voice and Breath work and Reiki.
We have built a team of very experienced and dedicated professional practitioners offering a wide-range of complementary therapies and alternative medicine. Many of our practitioners have specialist knowledge in areas such as the treatment of children, fertility, allergies, stress management and painful muscular skeletal ailments. Our team often cross-refer patients where appropriate, to give the highest level of support to patients. Over the years we’ve forged strong links with local GP’s who now regularly refer patients to the centre. We have a weekly low-cost acupuncture pain clinic for patients who are retired or unable to work, and a Reiki drop-in clinic once a month.
People come to the Centre for many reasons —

- to take time out from busy London lives, to relax and have a great massage.
- for nutritional advice or to get help to give up smoking.
- to learn a practice like Yoga or Meditation, to join a class and be part of the Centre’s community.
