Sarah Pletts

Sarah Pletts is an artist with a deep interest in mortality and a passion for living as fully as possible. Having experienced both ill health and recovery she values self care, the wisdom of the body and emotional intelligence. She has also been a carer and continues to spend time with friends in care settings.

Her creative work ranges from costume making, visual art, ceremony design to interactive theatrical experiences.

In response to the uncertain times we are living through, Sarah now holds grief tending spaces with partner Tony Pletts and others. She is an ‘Apprentice to Grief’ working in the footsteps of Maeve Gavin, Sophy Banks, Jeremy Thres and inspired by the practices and traditions of others including Francis Weller and Joanna Macy.

Sarah loves to dance soulfully, sleep under canvas, read in the bath and research family history.
