Becca Trotman
Osteopathy And Cranial Osteopathy
(BSc Hons Osteopathic Medicine)

Becca Trotman is an Osteopath registered with the General Osteopathic Council. She trained at the Surrey Institute of Osteopathic Medicine. She has continued her post-graduate training in Cranial Osteopathy. She has worked in a busy NHS surgery alongside working in private practices in London. She treats people of all ages and has a special intrest in treating expectant mothers, babies and children.

Becca strongly believe that our bodies have a powerful self-healing capacity. However, sometimes we need a helping hand, to deal with the accumulation of stresses and strains, and realise this healing potential. Through gentle re-alignment and improving the function of your body, you can feel more comfortable, improve your posture, and feel fitter and younger.

The stresses of your daily life, including work-place ergonomics, posture, past and present aches, pains, injuries, accidents and operations are all considered when creating a truly individual treatment plan. Using a broad range of osteopathic techniques, including Cranial Osteopathy, Becca focuses on improving function and balance in each patient’s body to create long-term improvements. Practical advice about your sitting and standing posture, exercise and stretching will help you to understand your body better and reduce your risk of further problems.

Becca appreciates that not everybody likes the traditional manipulation techniques (the ‘clicks’). She uses these techniques only if the patient is 100% happy with this approach. There is always an alternative method that can be used, often gentle, unwinding, Cranial Osteopathic techniques. Gentle osteopathic techniques and Cranial Osteopathy are wonderful for treating babies and children, following any injuries, accidents or operations and when stronger techniques would be unsuitable.
