Traditional and Cranial Osteopath

Osteopathy is a highly effective treatment for: back, neck and joint pain: pregnancy: children & babies: sport injuries:headaches and irritable bowel discomforts. It uses physical techniques to re-balance and provide support for the body in order to harness its remarkable capacity for self-repair.

Indera Ajimal (also known as Indi) is one of our resident Osteopaths offering individually tailored treatments including advice and aftercare.

Indi is a graduate of the British School of Osteopathy, London.
She continued with a Postgraduate Diploma in Classical Osteopathy at Maidstone and has attended Sutherland Cranial College courses.

Prior to retraining as an Osteopath, Indi followed a twenty year career in the NHS as a London based nurse (RGN), midwife (RM) and health visitor (Pg Dip HV), where she developed a committed belief to the health and wellbeing of all family members from pregnancy through to the elderly.
As an Osteopath being highly appreciative of the ability of the human body's capacity for health and self repair. Indi's aim is to support and maintain the individuals return to health with follow up advice.

Indi is registered with all leading insurers including PPP and BUPA.

Indi has maintained her registration as a member of the Nursing & Midwifery Council and is a registered member of the General Osteopathic Council where further information about oseopathy can be found on their website, www.osteopathy.org.uk
