Claire Battersby completed a 5-year full-time course in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine in 1998, since when she has run a busy private practice in London. She has experience in treating a wide range of conditions, and continues to do extensive post-graduate studies.
Claire has a particular interest in gynaecology and obstetrics, and has devoted many years of study to the subject. She has undergone post-graduate training in the treatment of various menstrual disorders, infertility, miscarriage and pregnancy and the use of acupuncture with IVF, and she is a member of the Acupuncture Fertility Network. Her approach combines western medical knowledge with ancient Chinese theory. She is committed to promoting a natural preconceptual healthcare programme to enhance fertility and increase the chances of natural conception or the success of IVF, and many years of experience have given her considerable success. She has recently set up a Fertility and Pregnancy Clinic at Dulwich Therapy Rooms.
Claire is a Member of the British Acupuncture Council and the Register of Chinese Herbal Medicine. These professional bodies guarantee the highest standards of training, care and professionalism. All members adhere to a strict Code of Ethics, Practice and disciplinary procedures and are professionally insured.
